We are a society of apostolic life founded by St. Vincent de Paul comprising of priests and Brother for the evangelization of the poor and the formation of the clergy. In some countries, example Nigeria we are known as Vincentians, Spain – Paules, France - Lazarists. We live in community bound by the vows of poverty, chastity, obedience, and stability. There are over four thousand Vincentian priests and Brothers worldwide serving in about eighty six countries.

Our motto is "Evangelizare pauperibus misit me" - He has sent me to bring Good news to the poor. Luke 4:18
